All RoofTech technical staff and site operatives have been trained to UKATA Category B certification which allows us to safely remove and work with asbestos-cement based roofing and cladding materials.
The course covered:
- Emergency procedures
- Use of a Class H Vacuum
- Control measures used on site for dust suppression
- Use and selection of the correct PPE and RPE
- Cleaning down the work area
- Decontamination
- Correct waste handling on site
- Practical Training, Use of PPE, Control Measures, Decontamination etc.
